lol I was just thinking the same thing about it looking like Batman.
Shouldn't it have Gunn or Gwen on it? Either way it's a cool looking cover. Weird, but cool.

Why is Spike even on the cover? From the description, it seems like he has nothing to do with this issue. I guess Spike sells.
I'm really excited for a Gwen story! Fulfills her destiny? Hmm... And Vamp Gunn, very exciting! I hope we get to see some LA citizens that we are familar with. Kate? Justine? David Nabbit? Virginia Bryce? Others?

Uh, I really don't like the cover but I'm sure I read that it was variant for another issue? Don't quote me though.
On the issue though, GUNN! I cannot wait to find out who sired him! I like the idea floating around that it was Harmony, as long as he didn't dust her. Maybe he has kidnapped her and is keeping her at HQ?

So according to the ad at the end of #6, the Batman-Spike cover shown here for #8 is actually the #7 variant. Remember how they kept the Wesley/Illyria cover for #5 a secret until the week it was released? Since #8 is about Gunn, I'm wondering now if maybe we haven't seen the 'real' cover yet because it contains a spoiler. Like who sired him, maybe? (And I'd love it if it really turns out to be Harmony )
