I'm thinking we will see Cordy somewhere and that mystery woman sure looks like her. She doesn't have to be alive to come back, especially in the "Reality" of After the Fall. I doubt that it will just be "hey Cordy's back, all good!". Can't wait to find out though!

After I read first night part 1, i don't think the mystery woman is Fred. She already took part in the Spike story, and will be continued in Spike, After the Fall. Now I think it's going to be Cordelia in the second part of Connor's story. Connor's story is "to be continued". So in part 2 I think he will meet Cordelia somehow...especially since there was a flashback in his part with her in it.

I think you're right, smartjoe. That's exactly what I thought after reading #6. Why would Illyria/Fred jump from Spike's story to Connor's? We pretty much know that the mystery character is female and that she looks like Cordy. Spirit Cordelia helping Connor find his place in hell? Sounds good to me.

I think we can be positive that it's Cordelia, but I doubt she's alive as, surely, she would have come out of the woodworks by 5 issues? If not to join the fight against evil, to go see Angel after "You're Welcome" ??
Guess only time will tell!

Yeah, while I think Cordy found proper closure with the fang gang in "You're Welcome," I always felt that the Conner thing was probably still an open wound for her. If she felt guilty enough about Lilah to apologize to Wes, then she must have felt really crappy about the number Evil!Cordy worked on poor Conner.

I think Cordelia seems too obvous, plus I hope its somebody else, I think the Cordelia Character has served its purpose. Id like to see someone like Doyle, I allways fealt that when he got killed off he still had alot to offer.

I'll be at the beach when this comes out, so I'll have to wait a week and a half to read this, the new Buffy, and the new Buffy Omnibus that is coming out all at the same time. I'll certainly have a nice present on my doorstep when I get home though.
