pretty cool. But I hope Gunns story doesn't end here. They have a knack for ending the storyline of the so called main villian, and replace it with another one. (season 2, Darla/Drusilla leave halfway through) (Season 4, possessed Cordy goes into coma from last 4 episodes)

I don't know why, but I love Angel's hair there. lol.

I still can't get over how odd Gunn looks as a vamp... its always so shocking when I see it.

As for the potential make-out session, I just hope Spike doesn't get jealous. Haha.

Anyone else think Angel looks a bit older? At least a little rough around the edges? I think that's a great touch.

Eh. Don't like this one. Angel as a vampire again, both of them looking like lions nuzzling each other. As soon as I saw this, I instantly thought of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and Simba and Nala nuzzling eac other. Really a pretty bad cover. Hope Alex Garner does a cover for this issue like 9 and 10.

Hmm.... no. Well, the likenesses are pretty good, but it seems the whole concept didn't work out that well. I hope the Vamp Angel is just a throw off, because I'd hate to be spoiled from a cover. I think it would of been much more affective if they were in their human faces.

I'm annoyed. Either Angel will turn into a vamp, and the surprise is ruined. Or he won't, and I'm disappointed because the cover "said so". it's like Spike kissing Illyria on a cover, they probably won't hook up, but they create expectations.

That's the norm with comics. We never got to see that Spike/Angel fight depicted in the Issue 5 cover, for example.

Anyway, I like the cover, if only for the odd feeling of seeing Gunn in vamp-face, close up. Heard speculations that this is Angel from Gunn's point of view, which would make sense (especially since I don't expect Angel to become a vampire again so soon; Joss and Brian haven't tortured him nearly enough yet

If its Angel from Gunn's p.o.v. then he would look vampiric because of the magic glamour that makes him appear like a vamp still.

I would LOVE this cover if they were not in "vamp face". I feel like this is TOO MUCH SPOILER-Y. I know that this may never happen in the comic, but still I like to have some bit of surprise when I read the issue! I still like the cover though.
