At the conclusion of the Angel TV series, Los Angeles and all its denizens were cast into a hellish dimension. Since then, Angel has sought redemption while dealing with the death and destruction brought on by his actions. Now, Joss Whedon, Brian Lynch, and Franco Urru present the final chapter in Angel’s struggle after the fall. But will anyone survive to see the conclusion?

I know! I really wanna see the covers lol

Am really sad that After the Fall is ending....but equally glad that the story is continuing....2 weeks later!!!:)

I'm one who waits for TPBs too, so I share your pain. I think it's why I can't commit to season 8. It would just take SO long.

What do you mean "can't commit to season 8" - are you not getting into it ? ???

I did buy the first 5 season 8 comics when they first came out but stopped at that and then (1 + year later ) I bought the Buffy/Angel TPBs they are so much better and cheaper I think, for me anyway... But It’s hard waiting lol So I had to get Joss’s other works (tales of slayers/vampires) and Angel #12 to see cordy and then framed her pages up on my wall lol

I have to read up on Jeremy to see what his deal is... (I will try and find out the net.) [image]

Yeah, season 8 so far has been too odd or contrived for me. Things you don't agree with stand out a lot if you have to wait 6 months for the next TPB to get on with the story.
With ATF, the issues and HCs have been moving a little quicker, and it's shorter, so the wait is nowhere near as excitement-squashing. We should have the whole thing collected by around September I'd imagine; whereas we'd only be half way through season 8 at best by then.
Also, I prefered ATF's story anyway.

Yes, it is a wraparound cover. It's unclear at this point if the cover will be broken up across issues #16 and #17, or if it is just the cover for issue #17.
